Church of the Primacy of Peter

Built right on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, this basalt church building commemorates the call of the disciple to be drop their nets and become fishers of men. It also marks the spot whereon Jesus prepared breakfast for his disciples during a post-resurrection appearance in Galilee (john 21). During that breakfast, he "rehabilitated" the disciple who denied him and gave Peter the care of his flock.
