This town is so different from all the other ruins we have seen because it was constructed almost entirely of black basalt. This lava substance is in abundance in Galilee and is still used in contemporary buildin in this area.
There are ruins of a particularly lovely synagogue in Corazin. Here I am reclining on the ruins of the pediment of the synagogue.
