Mount of the Beatitudes.

We rounded out our day by visiting the Church that commemorates Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. This beautiful octagonal church enshrines the eight beatitudes and overlooks the Sea of Galilee.

The Core of Jesus' Teachings in Matthew's Gospel, the Sermon on the Mount contains some of the most endurable moral and religious truths of our Faith. It was wonderful to spend the afternoon reflecting on those teachings in this remarkable and beautiful place.
